James (Jim) Stephanou, Senior Partner, EVERSANA Management Consulting, is a healthcare and life sciences professional who has spent the last 18+ years of his career helping clients address a broad range of strategic issues, with specific expertise supporting all phases of the M&A transaction life cycle, as well as corporate, business unit, and portfolio strategy and optimization.

Previously, Jim was a Senior Director with KPMG Deal Advisory and Strategy, where he completed a broad range of M&A transactions. Before joining KPMG, Jim was a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting’s M&A Advisory practice, where he focused on shaping and executing complex M&A transactions for small-, mid- and large-cap healthcare and life sciences companies, spanning both pre-commercial and post-market phase companies, and including work directly with leading private equity investors.

Jim has also authored original thought leadership, including perspectives on the emergence of digital health, as broadly catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact of the pandemic on digital health technology adoption, and the increasing importance of digital health in key medical specialties and associated therapeutic areas.

Jim holds an MBA in finance, strategy, and international business from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
