Unlocking Insights: EVERSANA’s Value & Evidence Team’s Impact on Economic and Healthcare Resource Utilization Outcomes in Robotic vs. Manual Total Knee Arthroplasty

The use of robotics in surgical procedures is becoming increasingly popular, with the potential to reshape the landscape of modern surgery. In total knee arthroplasty (TKA), the increased adoption of robotics has improved clinical outcomes, including increased precision and standardization compared to the manual procedure. While these findings have been well documented, evidence of the impact on the healthcare system in terms of economic and healthcare resource utilization (HCRU) outcomes related to robotic versus manual TKA was lacking. To address this evidence gap, DePuy Synthes (Daniel Hoeffel, Laura Goldstein, and Dhara Intwala), Robert Mayle, MD, and the Value & Evidence team at EVERSANA (Lisa Kaindl, Aidan Dineen, and Leena Patel) […]
