As a Director of Global Market Access and Pricing, Richard leads global consulting engagements within EVERSANA.
Richard comes with 13+ year of Life Sciences Consulting and Industry experience. He supported 40+ pharma brands preparing and executing a successful launch – from big pharma to BioTech. Richard’s primary expertise is access & pricing across therapeutic areas and geographies with a focus on oncology and rare diseases. He also has significant experience in fact-based, holistic approaches to (early) portfolio and product strategy, global launch excellence and value demonstration. He is experienced in delivering both, strategic plan and hands-on implementation.
His relevant project experiences include: global launch pricing of breakthrough oncologics in US and ex-US, global go-to-market, global pricing & commercial strategy, LCM strategy, tactical pricing & analytics, competitive simulations, financial forecasting, Search&Evaluation and M&A, brand strategy, value based contracting, patient flow strategy and tactics, and sales force analytics and excellence.
Prior to joining EVERSANA, Richard was a senior principal at IQVIA advising German pharma accounts on launch. He held a Global Value Access & Pricing role at the German BioTech MorphoSys during its expansion phase and managed consulting projects as a Principal for CRA, a boutique consulting firm focused on life science strategy. Prior to that, he was a consultant at SKP. Richard received his PhD and Diploma in physics from ETH Zurich.
