Before further investing in product development, the client needed to assess the potential for success in CVD by conducting extensive market landscape research prior to further clinical development.
The Solution
We leveraged several resources to develop the factbook for a cardiovascular disease tool. We conducted internal interviews with client stakeholders to determine key knowledge gaps and areas where research would be necessary. Targeted secondary research was conducted for key factbook sections: disease overview, treatment algorithms, competition and pipeline assessment, regulatory landscape, and market access.
Actionable insights into diagnosis and prescribing patterns were derived from a claims-based analysis using SCIPHER. Additionally, we conducted an analog assessment to identify potential go-to-market approaches.
