Sofiya joined the Value & Evidence division of EVERSANA in 2021 as a Research Assistant and currently holds the position of Associate Manager.
At EVERSANA, Sofiya has supported a multitude of systematic and targeted literature reviews across various disease areas. She also has supported feasibility assessments and indirect treatment comparisons. She has experience across a diverse range of therapeutic areas including oncology, inflammatory disorders, pulmonary diseases, and skin conditions.
Sofiya holds an MSc in Health Systems Research from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University.
She completed her undergraduate thesis project at the Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis Research Institute, focusing on the effects of gene manipulation on left ventricular plaque development, as well as the regenerative role of myofibroblasts post-myocardial infarction. Her interests lie in the fields of health inequalities, mental health, and bioethics.
