Our commitment to a healthier world: EVERSANA’s vaccine requirements for employees

EVERSANA is united in a vision to create a healthier world and grounded in a culture that includes being patient minded and taking action.

With those principles in mind and as we watch new variants of the COVID-19 virus emerge and spread rapidly, we believe it is our responsibility as a leader in the life sciences industry, and together as global citizens, to keep our families, friends, and neighbors safe.

Today we are announcing a requirement that our EVERSANA team worldwide will be vaccinated, with an initial requirement for our U.S. based employees to be vaccinated by October 8, 2021.

This decision was made after thoughtful deliberation and the consideration of scientific, data-driven information about the vaccines’ safety and effectiveness. While deeply hesitant to mandate anything that impacts our employees’ liberties, this pandemic, and the broader need to protect our communities, calls for unique and swift action.

We stand ready to educate and support our employees who need access to the vaccine or more information.

We also call on our partners in the life sciences and healthcare industries to consider similar steps. While these decisions are difficult, we can make an impact in this critical moment to change the trajectory of this virus’ spread. The health of so many must be protected.

We have work to do in the weeks to come. Our vaccination requirement will apply to most EVERSANA employees regardless of whether the employee currently works remotely or onsite. At this time, exceptions to our vaccination requirement will include team members who qualify for a medical or religious accommodation or those who work in select operational areas, including our distribution centers and situations where client agreement is required.

We are confident that this decision is the best way to ensure the safety and the well-being of our team, our clients and especially the patients we serve. We thank our EVERSANA employees who have already been vaccinated and hope all employees will now take the steps needed to stay well and create a healthier world together.
