The Situation
An early-stage biopharmaceutical company entered an integrated commercialization agreement with EVERSANA. Multiple EVERSANA business units collaborated to assist in preparing for the launch of the company’s novel gastrointestinal disease treatment.
The Solution
We began by reviewing internal documents, performing secondary research, and conducting internal interviews with key company stakeholders to develop an initial draft of the patient journey. Identifying gaps in understanding, we developed primary research instruments and conducted interviews with primary care physicians (PCPs) and gastroenterologists to gain additional insights.
Utilizing the learnings from primary research, we revised the patient journey and identified strategic leverage points. The revised patient journey was shared with the EVERSANA Patient Services and EVERSANA ENGAGE teams to solicit feedback and identify potential opportunities for their future involvement in the commercialization process. Feedback from the broader EVERSANA team was then used to finalize the patient journey, and our findings were presented to the client team.
