Our People Are Patients Too!

Our fast-growing Channel Management team is not just about delivering top-notch service—it’s about making a real difference in the lives of patients and employees alike.

At EVERSANA, we focus on putting the patient at the center of everything that we do – and that goes for our employees too. One such example includes an HR People Partner, Nastassia Johnson, MS, HRM, and her personal connection to our PATIENT MINDED commitment to creating better solutions for patients.

Nastassia serves EVERSANA’s Channel Management division – a group of experts who ensure the efficient, safe and agile distribution of life-altering therapies, delivering them wherever patients need them—whether that’s to pharmacies, hospitals clinics, HCP offices and distributors. We also understand that every patient journey matters, including our own colleagues.

Nastassia’s Journey with Lupus

When Nastassia Johnson was 26 years old, she struggled with simple daily activities, even changing her son’s diaper. Working at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN at the time, she knew it was necessary to speak with her doctor and explore the available options.

One day at work, her doctor was rounding the corner and visited the Neuro floor where Nastassia was stationed. He asked Nastassia to walk with him, and gently explained that she had tested positive for her Antinuclear Antibody (ANA) test. Nastassia learned a positive ANA test meant a positive Lupus diagnosis —an autoimmune disease with no cure, but many treatment options.

In most people, antibodies are formed to protect the body from infections and other bad things. People living with Lupus have antibodies that Nastassia describes as “blind, fighting everything in the body, including vital organs and cells.

Although living with Lupus remains challenging, Nastassia draws inspiration from other patients battling this misunderstood disease. She maintains her health by embracing rest, focusing on nutrition, managing stress and her positive outlook is a daily source of strength. She has also found medication that significantly improves her quality of life.

A Small World, Connected by Experts Who Care

For Nastassia, it became essential to work for an organization that prioritizes people and mental health.

Nastassia had been working at EVERSANA for 8 months when she discovered that the life-changing medication she uses is distributed by EVERSANA.

For Nastassia, this is no small thing.

Imagine my surprise when I learned that the medication that makes the difference of me being able to open my car door, hold my laptop without dropping it, or walk like any other 41-year-old should is being distributed from the building where I provide HR support – being shipped to the rescue of others in similar circumstances. It’s a great feeling for sure!”

In a show of solidarity with Nastassia and others living with Lupus, colleagues from across EVERSANA recently came together to wear purple—the color associated with Lupus awareness. This gesture not only highlighted our support for Nastassia but also our commitment to raising awareness and advocating for better health outcomes for all patients.

EVERSANA proudly prioritizes patient-centric solutions to create a healthier world for all. Our commitment to making a meaningful impact drives everything we do, ensuring that both our employees and the patients we serve can thrive.
